We will need a volunteer coach for each team formed. Coaches will receive ONE registration fee, credit for Coaching that age group.

Some of the duties of a Coach include...

- Sending out weekly game reminders to the team

- Attending games and practices

- Coaching games (subbing players in and out, equally)

- Age groups 2020 through 2016, will warm up before each game. They will not practice on a separate day. 

- Age groups 2015 and up, practice one day a week for an hour. You'll be responsible for scheduling a practice day/time for the season and running a practice. 

- No experience necessary! I will go over all information with the Coaches and help along the way.

Players born 2018, 2019, 2020: $65/player

Players born 2016, 2017: $75/player

Advanced 2018 players: $75/player. *Advanced 2018 players will play into the 2016/2017 age group. 

Advanced 2016 players: $115/player. *Advanced 2016 players will play into the 2014/2015 age group.

Players born 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015: $115/player

*Advanced 2014 players will play into the 2011/2013 age group. 

The season will start in April and end in May/beginning of June. This is due to Labor Day weekend. We also host a soccer tournament in Grosse Ile, which runs May 31-June 2.

There will be 8 games during the season. We will not be canceling any games unless the fields are completely unplayable and unsafe or there is thunder/lightning. All players will be expected to play in the rain, sleet, snow, etc. 

Two locations: Southgate at Christ The King and Grosse Ile at the Airport fields. 

Games in Southgate are Saturday's

Games in Grosse Ile are Sunday's

Please note, I have added "Advanced" birth years. Please only select this option if your player is truly more skilled and is phasing out of their own age group. We do understand some players are more advanced. This option is for those players. 

All players must wear shin guards, please make sure you have soccer socks that completely cover the shin guards. Players can wear tennis shoes or cleats, although cleats are recommended. Absolutely NO FOOTBALL cleats. All players must bring their own soccer ball.  Please try avoiding buying soccer balls from Five Below, Wilson or Franklin black/white balls or the Puma balls from Target. Those balls are not the correct weight of an actual soccer ball. The best soccer balls are Adidas or Nike.

We also highly recommend all players bring water bottles with their names on them.

Players born 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 : Size 3

Players born 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012: Size 4

Players born 2011: Size 5 (Although we will play games with a size 4. This is the appropriate size for their age).

Players born 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 will play 4v4 with no goalie. 

Birth years 2018-2020 will play two 15 minute halves. 

Birth years 2016/2017 will play two 20 minute halves.

Players born 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 will play 7v7 with a goalie. 

Birth years 2011-2015 will play two 25 minute halves.

Games will start at 11:00am and go from there.

Any games that are canceled due to weather, will be rescheduled if at all possible.
